I just upgraded my PC to a Lenovo W530 with NVIDIA Quadro K100M graphics card (Running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit). FMLE is causing Blue Screen crashes after just sitting idle for 5 or 10 minutes. Also causing BS crashes when some FMLE setting are changed such as audio source. Any ideas what might be going on??? Both FMLE 2 and 3 are exhibiting the same issues.

Opinions on low cost USB video capture devices for FMLE?
I have already tried a few such devices. I would at least like to achieve reasonable SD at 720 X 480. HD would be a plus, but not necessary. My camera has HDMI, SDI, and Component and composit out. I have already tried a couple of capture devices, and the results were as follows.
SIIG USB 2.0 Video Capture Device - JU-AV0012-S1
Pretty clear as to why this was so cheap. It claims full NTSC support, but that is only on the input. Output is 320 X 240 only.
DIAMOND USB 2.0 HD Game Console Video Capture Device GC500 USB 2.0 Interface
Again, this unit claims "HD" but that is only on the input. Output is 640 x 480. The image quality was terrible with the supplied software, or with Adobe FMLE. Noisy, and well below full NTSC quality. Even when fed with the component out of a Sony NX5. Unacceptable. Even for the bargain price at Frys.
Hauppauge HD PVR 2 Gaming Edition
Seems I bought a dud. I went back and forth with Hauppauge support, and never could get this to be detected by FMLE, or the included software. On doing a search online for the error message I received, I discovered many similar trouble reports on various forums. I bought this one at a discounted price. Perhaps this is the reason why.
The notebook I have is a Windows unit, with no expresscard slot, or 1394 input (unfortunately). I did look briefly at the Blackmagic Intesity Shuttle, but it needs USB 3.0.
Curious to hear of any sucess with USB capture and FMLE, and with a device under (hopefully well under?)$200.

Blackmagic Decklink Duo not recognized at startup
Hi there,
I have a problem with the FMLE 3.2 on Win8.1 and a Blackmagic Decklink Duo.
The Decklink is working well with other software, e.g. Windows Media Encoder.
But in FMLE there are some issues. I can set the video input to Decklink Video Capture and the audio input to Decklink Audio Capture without any error messages.
But when I´m saving and reopening the saved settings, I´m getting the error message "Problem with audio capture device. Profile specified the device: Decklink Audio Capture Selected default device: Decklink Audio Capture (2)"
Now, Decklink Audio Capture (2) is selected, but the volume bar is gone and there is no audio recording.
So, there is no way to run the FMLE with a script because in every situation, there is an error. Maybe it has something to do with the Mainconcept AAC encoder?
I uninstalled it, but same errors. I have two machines, same problem on both machines, so I don´t guess, this is a hardware error.
any ideas?

FMLE 3.2 Crashes when 1600x892, 1280x720, 1024x576 or 640x480 are selected under Win 7 Ultimate
Any time I select one of e\these resolutions, FMLE just disappears; no crash report, noting. It just shuts down. Works fine with any of the other resolutions.
Input Device:
- Logitech HD Pro Web Cam C920
System Specs:
- CPU: Intel Core2 Quad Q9650 @ 3.00 GHz

Why i can not open Video Capture Device Settings in Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder?
Hi! I've got a problem with Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder 3.2. Why i can not open Video Capture Device Settings? I'm clicking this button, but it doesn't appear, there is just a blinking of the camera's window. Please help me, i'm looking like a shining red pig! Need to change the light or contrast.

Does anyone knows how can I connect a PXW-X70 camera, to a PC and stream with Flash Media Live Encoder 3.2? I connect the camera using the USB port, when I launched Adobe only shows my webcam. Thank you.

Compatible Devices as BlackMagicShuttle Throws BDOS Error

As BlackMagicShuttle ends up in blue screen error, i am forced to look into some other device. Need your suggestion as to which device i can got for reliable streaming. BTW am from India and want a non expensive device. Have already used ADVC110 which i dont want to go for as the firewire ports have already faded out.

Hi, does anybody know the syntax for the FMS URL -parameter
when streaming multiple bitrate live streams with FMLE 3 to FMIS
3.5? E.g. when I select the FMLE-preset: Multiple Bitrate - 3
streams (1500Kbps), for the FMS URL Flash Media Encoder just tells
me that:
"On replacing tags in stream name with their values, two or more streams have the same name. Please us %i tag in stream name to prevent this from happening"
So does anybody know the correct form for the FMS URL in this case, thanks!

Cannot add TV commercial .mpg file to encoder - error while decompressing source
Hello!
I'm attempting to add a .mpg file to the CS5 Media Encoder but receive the error "Error while decompressing the source file". This file was recorded and is being used as a TV commercial. Would this mean that the file has a different encoding/compression that makes it impossible for the Encoder to decompress? I'm stumped because It is a .mpg file, which should be accepted. I've attempted adding other .mpg files and have no trouble. Is there any way around this?

Stream from EzCap video capture, to Flash Encoder, freezes - why?
Goodness I hope you guys can help me!
I've got a wireless camera system, with the receiver plugged into the EzCap (video only), which then connects via a USB port on my computer.
I'm running Windows 7, 3GB RAM, fairly empty computer, certainly not overloaded at all. Pentium dual core processor, so certainly capable of handling this.
The issue is the stream is freezing and I don't know whether it's the EzCap or the Encoder, or even how to rule out one or the other.
I'm not terribly technical with this sort of stuff, so there may be some very obvious items I haven't checked

FMLE 3.2 and Osprey 820e Capture Card, for Live HD Streaming
Have had FMLE 3.2 working flawlessly with an Osprey 260e Video Capture Card, for live streaming of Standard Definition Video (analog input), but have considerable unused bandwidth (fiber direct to my office) and I wish to stream live in HD (High Definition) from a Live HD-SDI source and was considering the Osprey 820e Video Capture Card, but wanted to confirm that FMLE 3.2 will continue to work well for this application?
I desire to have two streams, one SD and one HD (which the 820e will do), but will FMLE 3.2 do this???
Or secondarily, if it cannot do both simultaneously, can I easily switch between the two streams??

Audio is not getting encoded on FMLE 4
Hi All,
I am using FMLE to encode my settop-box o/p, and then stream to FMS.
Looks like FMLE is encoding video properly, but not audio.
What could be the issue?
My setup is ,
Settopbox -> RCA cable (red, yellow, white) Output -> Canopus ADVC110 (This is to convert RCA to Firewire o/p) -> Firewire cable ->MAC mini.
FMLE is running on Mac mini.
When encoded, it says encoded bytes to 3kbps, although i set for 64kbps.
Can anybody share the openinon on this.,..

Need to record .MP4 out of FMLE 3.2
Hi Gang,
Please help a Noob out:
I have been using FMLE 3.2 for about 18 months and I LOVE the quality. Been streaming LIVE to Ustream weekly and as an archival system I've been saving all the streams locall as .FLV files.
Big Change: My vid archiving service (blip.tv) now requires that I upload only .mp4 files to go through their syndication sytem etc. i like what Blip offers, so I'm TRYING to do what they require, but I CANNOT figure out how to save my FMLE files as .MP4s! When I choose H264 as an option I get errors in the final file(s) and no vid playbeack software will recognize them.
What am I missing here? I have read that FMLE 3.2 WILL indeed record .MP4 files as output. Am I wrong?

FMEL - What Screen Cap Program Can Capture in Fullscreen for Fullscreen Applications?
I have tried 6 screen cap programs: VH, Uscreen, CamStudio, UltraVNC...etc, and none are able to capture any program that I use in fullscreen, whether it is a 3D game or a fullscreen slideshow.
Does anyone know of a (preferably free) screen capture program that works for Windows 7 and can capture 3D fullscreen applications? If there is nothing for free, then any premium recommendations would be appreciated.
I just could not find a program that worked, so I am just wondering if there is a tried and proven program out there.

FMLE crash when shut down in OS X Lion
For some reason FMLE crashes when I shut it down in Lion. It works pretty ok while up running though cause I can cast with it but when Im shutting it down the program crashes every time. How can I fix this?

Flash media encoder 3.2 and black magic intesity pro 8.6 drivers
ok so here is my problem im capturing a source with compnent cables and after about 12 hrs i drop 1 frame on input from 30fps to 29fps.. my output is 29.97 and when this happens video lags to flash media server.. here is the funny part this doesnt happen ever on my x6 amd cpu using onboard video
The affected system is a 2600k with a 6850 xfx gfx card..
so what could problem be?
p.s both bmc are working fine in amd nothing wrong with them
now keep in mind i reset the fmle but this is how its configured
