HELP! "Error: Profile validation Error"

Hi all,

I'm using newtek tricaster with Adobe Media Encoder 3. So far I've been able to stream without problems, even after personalizing profiles. This was using VP6 codec. Now that I had to switch to H264 I'm still able to stream files, but I cannot save those files, no matter what profile I use, everytime I check the Save file box, I get an error "Media Encoder finished prematurely. Try Again", when I look at the directory, a log file is created. (if i only stream, it works fine).

Here's a log example, and also a .xml profle that i'm currently use

HD Encoding from HDMI/Componet inputs with AVerMedia AVerTVHD DVR

$

My name is Felix Kolotinsky and I am FAE at AVerMedia Technologies, Inc USA office.

AVerMedia has a product AVerTVHDDVR  that works with Flash Media Live Encoder 3.1, AVerTVHDDVR is capable to capture HD quality up to 1080i from build intHDMI, Component YPbPr and Analog from S-Video and Composite.

If you are interested, here is link to product description http://www.avermedia-usa.com/AVerTV/product/ProductDetail.aspx?Id=482

Below is screenshot that I took from FMLE using AVerTVHDDVR, my source was HDMI from Direct TV Set top box, in this case I was encoding in 1080i source into 720x480, you can Encode up to 1080i, however this requires Quad Core CPU

I recorded an instructional video and posted on www.youtube.com, here is link to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMF-jkZxeMk

If you are interested, please contact me directly: felix.kolotinsky@avermedia.com and I will assist you with setup.

We do also have a Professional Capture board, using AVerMedia Driver and Special Software Plug in this Capture board works with Adobe Premiere CS4

Enjoy,

Problems with Audio with BlackMagic Intensity Shuttle

$

I recently bought the BlackMagic Intensity Shuttle hoping it would work with FME so I could stream games from my Xbox/PS3.

Everything is great with the video but the audio is the main problem. I'm having sync issues with the audio when I use the audio from the BMI Shuttle. The audio source is Decklink Audio Capture and no matter what settings I try on both the audio and video, it seems to stay out of sync.

I capture 720p @ 59.94 fps. I've pretty much tried everything, even downgraded the drivers to each and every driver since the shuttle came out. I haven't tried downgrading FME, but I don't think that will solve anything either. Right now I have the latest FME (3.2) and I still had audio sync issues with 3.1.

When I try to use an external program to capture video (such as VHMULTICAM), then I cannot produce the audio from FME because VHMulticam is using the video and so the Decklink Audio Capture won't respond in FME then. I don't know of a program that can capture both audio and video at the same time either.

Just wondering to see if anyone has any suggestions or recommendations to settings or anything else. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks!

no sound with Avermedia and FMLE 3.2

Hello all...

We've got and FMLE 3.2 version running with Avermedia studio 707 tv tuner.

The problem I am facing is that I can't get audio from TV Tuner.

The native video player of the avermedia tv tuner correctly shows video and audio as well whereas FMLE is unable to produce sound.

Neither sound, nor a sound meter on the left of the video. I've read some post here,  saying I have to change "line in", "mic in" options to "stereo mix", but unfortunately every time I try to use this options they go back to default values. I am in unrgent need to solve this problem, as I am going to stream live TV show on my website. Any kind of help will be greatly appreciated.

F4V file trouble -> HOW do I play this?

$

Hi. One of my friend sent me a file which is .F4V file. I've tried with numerous media players (VLC, GOM, Window, QuickTime, etc) without success. I've also tried to change it to .mp4 file and play with those media players without success.

I've read that I might be able to run it with Adobe Flash Player, but how do I do that? If I download the player, then I cannot find it on my folder and have no clue where it was installed into. Chrome apparently has built-in Flash player.

Can someone please take me almost step by step on how to play this? This is rather important file regarding my exam...

FME doesn't recognize cameras on new retina pro

$

I just got a new macbook retina pro, and FME will not recognize cameras at all.  It doesn't acknowledge the existence of the built-in webcam, and it won't recognize camtwist either.  Other applications will recognize them just fine so it's not camtwist or the built-in camera.  What else could be causing this?  I tried both FME 3.2 and 3.1.  I don't think it's Mavericks either, as before this upgrade I was running FME on a Macbook Air with Mavericks with no trouble.

Blackmagic USB3 Ultrastudio Pro experience?

$

0

I understand from the "Blackmagic Capture Cards?" forum thread that there can be difficulties with Flash Media Live Encoder and some Blackmagic capture cards. But I don't see the newer USB3 based Black Magic Ultrastudio Pro beeing mentioned (in a positive OR negative way..).

Anyone having any experience or thoughts about this sollution?

From the Blackmagic download site, I see that in the driver update from 23 July 2010 (Blackmagic USB 3.0 Desktop Video 7.7.3 for Windows) they specify "Fixed compatibility issue with Flash Media Encoder 3.1" among the improvements. I'm optimistic because of this, and if it works well (read: stable) I would think is a flexible sollution for my next streaming setup, but I really need to hear more thoughts (and if possible experiences) in this.

Any feedback apreciated!

FMLE Out of Memory Crash

I'm using an AverTV Hybrid Volar Max USB tuner connected to my cable box via composite cables, and my computer is Win7 64bit running in Bootcamp on an iMac (Intel Core2 Duo 2.30GHz with 4GB RAM).  I can select and stream video from the Aver device using FMLE 3.1 fine.  But when I try to select the Aver device as the Audio Input in FMLE, FMLE hesitates for a few seconds and then crashes.  The initial error message that I got when this first happened was ...

FMLE - out of memory

And then another Windows error message ...

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Program Files (x86) \ A...

R6016

-Not enough space for thread data

This sounds like it may be a hardware issue, but I'd like to get any feedback possible on potential software workarounds or machine configuration changes that I might try.  I have looked at the Windows Task Manager when FMLE is running and, during video-only streaming, CPU usage is high (approx 80-90%).  But the FMLE crash occurs even before I've started streaming; it happens right after I simply select the Aver device in the Audio dropdown.  Any ideas?

Camera Set-Up for Live Streaming - Advice Needed

$

Hi all,

I'm interested in live-streaming a lecture, and I need some advice on what AV equipment is required.

I would like to film the lecture with an external camera (not webcam) and use a wireless lapel microphone to ensure the audio input clearly picks up the speaker.

I have access to camera's such as a Sony X1, a Digital SLR, or a HD Webcam. I also have a wireless lapel mic.

As I haven't filmed for a live-stream event before I want to do some extensive testing to ensure it works without any technical difficulties.

Can anyone provide me with some advice, ideally a walkthrough of how I would set-up the camera and audio equipment with Flash Media Live Encoder so I can stream the video through Youtube?

Many thanks,

Ross
