Flash media encoder vs Windows Media Encoder...

One feature I really liked about the Windows Media Encoder, is that you could 'build a show' in the sources list by creating sources that were .avi or .wmv files.  You could switch these sources mid-stream with no problems, and program them to roll to the next one or back to the first (live) source.  So during webcasts, for example, we could have our live broadcast and play clips, bumpers, ads, whatever, before rolling back to the live source.

Does this feature exist at all with Flash Media Live?  We're being forced to switch, and my preliminary reading makes it look like you can only use hardware sources and even those must be from an approved list.

So, is there a way to play video clips mid-stream with the flash live encoder?

Thanks!
