We spent months trying to find this soultion. (just passing it along)
We have an IP camera which is connected to our router. Using Adobe Flash Live Media Encoder for Justin.tv / OnyxServers or any service to host live streaming. We could not get FMLE to "see" our IP cam on the router.
After downloading this small program and started FMLE, our IP camera was in the dropdown list to choose from. WHAT A LIFE SAVER.
Just wanted to pass this along to others who might run into the same issue.
Generic Direct Show Source Filter for Network IP Video Cameras
This source filter works with any Network IP Video Camera that supports capturing still JPEG image over http.
Instructions:
1. Download the x86 edition of the driver from umedia server (dot net)
NOTE: The 64bit edition of the driver was not detected by Flash Media Live Encoder so be sure to download the x86 edition
2. Start FMLE and select 'IPCamSourceVideo' for video device
3. Click on the wrench icon for 'Device'.
4. Enter the camera URL for capture of still JPEG image over h t t p.
5. Click OK and after a few seconds the IP camera feed should show in the preview window.
