Hi all,
I did a search in the archives with no luck for my specific question. And a few days ago I did a search online to see if we can use h.264 video w Flash CS3 using the FLV Playback component and I found a tutorial that says you can.
He said that when you go to set parameters after you have the component on the stage, when you click "source" in the parameters, he said naturally it will be looking for an flv to plug in, but he said the just type an "*" asterisk in where the file name will go, without the quotes, and the h.264 file will then become visible when you're browsing for the file to click on.
Then he says your good to go.
Is there any validity to this. I forget where I found the tut , I can find if need be, but I want to know if anyone has done this?
Or do I have to encode a h.264 (an give up the high def) into an flv with flash media encoder. (that's the only encoder I have)
Thanks,
Art
