ok.. 4 (now 6) hours later...I'm getting no where on this. Long story short...i7 Core6, 24 gig or ram, windows7 pro, FME 3.1, intensity pro card ...
Getting this error: windows media encoder exited with error 1073741819
i've tried everything--
uninstalled, re-installed, used other audio drivers...used different video card...and so forth.
Work with FLME2.5 ---not 3.1 ???
Dont get it.
Hellllpppp please.
Thanks,

As noted above further to this...if i clean slate and install FMLE2.5 --- all works. The error occurs when I use 3.0 or 3.1 --load up the attributes in the preview windows ---get LED for audio, get video --- click start---and it automatically shuts down. I have a ton of logs, but cant decipher them. Any help would be appreciated!!

The saga continues.
The system in question here that does not work with FMLE3.0 or 3.1 has the following internals:
ACI x 64
Intel Core i7 CPU x 980@3.33 GHZ (this is a true i7-6)
24 GB Internal RAM
Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
It ranks a 7.8 out of 7.9 (less Hard Drive --drops it down to lowest standard of 6.9)
Cards Installed:
1x Black Magic Intensity Pro v.3.4 Driver (latest is 3.9 --but still crashes, and we have another application that needs 3.4)
1x Creative Labs Soundblaster X-Fi
1xiMicUSB Line/Mic Audio
1x On board ATI High Definition Audio Device
2x Marvell Yukon 88E8056 PCI-e Gigabit Ethernet Cards (on board)
When we run FMLE 3.0 or 3.1, we see video and get audio from the iMic, but once we hit start, it goes the the "encoding page" and then shuts down.
When we run FMLE 2.5 and do the exact same thing............no issues.
I had somebody mention to me that this could be do to hyper threading as for 3.0 had this issue. If so--why wont 3.0 or 3.1 support hyperthreading?
I have to get these boxes out the door --so greatly appreciate all the help and support from you all.
Thanks,
Kc
