HI and thanks in advance for any help.
I broadcast a live webcam stream to a site that requires the following FMLE settings.
VP6
25.0 fps
640 x 480 input res. with maintain aspect ratio checked.
bitrate: 1 checked and 1000 kbps with 640 x 480 output
deinterlace checked
I am running a brand new Dell XPS 17 with the new 2nd generation i7 processor.
My internet speed ping test is 15-20 mbps download and 2.1 mbps upload.
My webcam is a logitech orbit MP 1.3 mp sensor hooked to a 2.0 usb port.
The room is well let with 2-150 watt halogens projected against the ceiling. No direct light or back light on the subject.
My fmle logs show no dropped frames or quality degradation while streaming.
My broadcast image on the site I am broadcasting to is poor at best. Pixelated, but runs smooth.
Any help here? I'm looking for a much sharper image. Keep in mind the fmle settings are required by the site, but I'm not sure why.
I'm thinking its the camera but with these fmle resolution settings, will upgrading to a 2.0 mp sensor camera or even one of these new hd 720p cameras really help.
Any input would be appreciated.
